Eldorado Park, Gauteng
The suburb of Eldorado Park is situated within the Soweto area of Johannesburg. The area is just over 21 km southwest of the city centre. There are a number of main roads nearby, which makes it easy to access the area. The Golden Highway runs along the eastern section of Eldorado Park and the Moroka Bypass is located to the south. These roads then easily connect to the N1 and M1 nearby.
The Main Road runs through the centre of Eldorado Park from east to west. Along this road you will be able to find the Elim Mall, quite a few churches, the Eldomain Secondary School, the Eldorado Secondary School, and the Eldorado Police Station. The road also turns off into Surkel Road, which will take you through to the Eldorado Shopping Centre.
Properties for sale in the area include mostly houses as well as a few apartments. There might also be one or two commercial properties available. Residents have access to a number of other schools besides the ones I have already mentioned including the Eldorado Park Primary School and the Parkdale Primary School.
Located close to these schools is the Eldorado Park Stadium, which is available to the community. Many residents simply come here to exercise, but others come to participate in a variety of sporting activities. Another sporting facility nearby is the Soweto Country Club and Golf Course, which is found to the north of Eldorado Park. Just a little to the south of the country club is the Crystal Mall, a small shopping centre, but quite popular.
